Led by UNICEF Lao PDR and supported by national ministries and local partners, this project aims to close the country’s air quality data gap and protect children's health. Using AirGradient monitors, schools and communities now have access to real-time air quality data for the first time.
Along with the monitors, training was provided to teachers, students, and local officials. Community members are learning how to read the data and respond to pollution risks. Local teams also joined workshops in Thailand to build skills in calibration and forecasting, helping ensure the long-term success of the network.
