“Simply measuring air quality isn’t enough; we need to empower people everywhere with the knowledge and tools to drive change. This open-source software project is our commitment to doing just that, collaboratively and transparently. We envision a platform built by the community, for the community, making vital air quality insights accessible to all and supporting local action. We can’t achieve this alone – I invite you to lend your skills and passion to this significant effort.“
This Is How You Can Contribute
Developers can dive right into our GitHub repositories for both the frontend and backend of the app. Browse existing issues, suggest new features, work on code improvements, and submit pull requests. Beyond coding, contributions in testing, documentation, design feedback, sharing scientific insights, or helping with localization are also incredibly valuable!
GitHub Repository
Clone the airgradient-map repository and contribute to some of the open issues, or discuss with us about new features and ideas that you are interested in on the discussion board.
Get In Touch
Have questions, suggestions, or specific ideas on how you’d like to contribute? Please get in touch with us! We’re eager to hear your thoughts and explore how we can collaborate on the Clean Air Advocates program.
Check-Out the Apps
The first deployment of this new code base will be the AirGradient Map, followed by the mobile apps that we will develop. We will publish the links here, once available.
